SMSF Advice is an Australian financial services licensee, established at a time of rapid regulatory and industry change as the licensee of choice for accountants.
The recent removal of the SMSF accountants exemption and the introduction of the accountant limited licence has forced many practice owners to consider their licencing options and the impact on their business.
Our business was set up specifically to support accountants through this change. We provide clarity and guidance for businesses keen to embed themselves as SMSF strategic advice specialists and ensure these professionals, and their clients, maximise the opportunity of this rapidly growing sector.

What do we do?
Our business ensures accountants have the ability, the capability and the confidence to provide the best possible SMSF advice for their clients and fulfil their SMSF accountant responsibilities.
How do we do it?
SMSF is at our core, not simply tacked on. We are the only specialist SMSF licensee in the market providing specific accountant SMSF advice.
Our single focus and expertise enables us to understand the unique opportunities – and challenges – in the SMSF sector at any given point in time. We can build great relationships with business owners because we know what matters to them and their clients.
Through all of this we offer choice in relation to the level of SMSF authority, the amount of support, and even the freedom to leave.
We are the accountant’s licensee
For many Australians, SMSFs are the way of the future. We are committed to affirming our place as the market leaders in this space and being the leading SMSF licensing brand for accountants in Australia.
Being part of the AMP Group means SMSF Advice can draw on in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and a wealth of tried and tested resources to ensure the licensee, and all businesses associated with it, succeeds.
